Joy. Sun. Love.

The 3 Ultimate Necessities...

Joy, great happiness -particularly an elevated or spiritual kind, is what keeps us from falling apart when things of the world seem to be falling apart around us. Joy is housed deep within a person, in a place where it is untouched and unchangeable. Unfortunate circumstances may cause us to feel temporary sadness, but a joyous spirit is a hopeful one and is therefore incapable of staying in a place of sadness, misery, or despair. Joy dispels anger and bitterness and replaces it with peace. One does not have a joyous mind, but instead possesses a joyous spirit. The bible tells us that the joy of the lord is our strength. Those who are not of Christian faith may attempt to disregard this but I say this, whether you are religious, spiritual, or something in between, without hope and faith in something greater than oneself, joy will also be nonexistent. Find your joy!

The Sun, the perfectly spherical Star that sit in the center of the Solar System. The Sun is the most important element to all things living. Besides the obvious heat and light it provides, it is also the head of the food chain, needed by both plants and animals alike. The sun is also an important source of energy. It's true that too much time in the sun has been shown to have some harmful effects yet, the benefits of spending just one hour a day soaking up the sun's rays can help to naturally treat certain ailments such as PMS, infertility, depression, arthritis, high cholesterol and insomnia. The Sun truly is the key to all life.

Love, often difficult to define or even explain, can simply be described as a strong, positive emotion of affection or regard for something or someone. Sadly, many have convinced themselves that love is much more than a desire that some hold, but far from a need. The reality is that this could not be farther from the truth. Experiments and studies have shown that even the simplest primates fair much better when they are subjected to the regular attention and nurturing of others. Those who lacked this were found time and time again to be more aggressive and have shorter life spans. As humans, love provides up with comfort, makes us more self-confident, stronger, more motivated, and contributes to healthy character traits. When we feel loved, we give love and loving others makes us better human beings. One could never have too much love in their life -only too little. Go. Be. Love.
